  30. Hydrogen Peroxide. It can be made by electrolyzing ammonium persulfate in sulfuric acid to get ammonium peroxydisulfate. Mixing that with water gives hydrogen peroxide and the ammonium persulfate back.
  31. Why is there no way to break potassium bisulfate back down into sulfur, oxygen, and potassium? I'm trying to make some nicads and this seems to be where my potassium us.
  32. Maybe try bathing silver minerals with nitric acid to get silver nitrate (don’t get it on your hands! )…
  33. Potassium hydroxide + sulfur dioxide = potassium sulfite + water (I don’t know why potassium sulfite doesn’t have a recipe like sodium sulfite… )
  34. Sodium/potassium hydroxide+sulfuric acid = sodium/potassium bisulfate+water (or sodium/potassium sulfate which may require a selector label to control the ratio of reactions… )
  35. Sodium/potassium bisulfate + sodium/potassium hydroxide = sodium/potassium sulfate + water (although not useful, this reaction is really feasible)
  36. Sodium/potassium sulfite + hydrogen peroxide = sodium/potassium sulfate + water (which can make sodium/potassium sulfite useful, perhaps adding a sulfur dioxide + hydrogen peroxide recipe to sulfuric acid like nitric acid)
  37. Sodium/potassium bisulfate = drying = sodium/potassium pyrosulfate + distilled water (although sodium/potassium pyrosulfate is temporarily not good for use, but this reaction allows it to be available, is also a viable recipe… )
  38. Hydrosulfuric acid + sodium/potassium hydroxide = sodium/potassium sulfide (I don’t remember if there’s any recipe… But at least hydrosulfuric acid can be used to make it useful, not just to recover sulfur from sulfur dioxide.
  39. Hydrogen peroxide ==manganese dioxide catalysis== water + oxygen:
  40. Although oxygen is obviously much cheaper than hydrogen peroxide, it is still feasible as a laboratory oxygen production method.
  41. Carbonate + hydrochloric acid = chloride + carbon dioxide + water:
  42. The method of making carbon dioxide (usually calcium carbonate (marble) that can be learned in class) is at least feasible, although carbon dioxide is basically useless exhaust gas.

  46. Solvents: Some solvents can be added in some reactions (especially in organic reactions). Solvents are not consumed like catalysts. Solvents can be used to make chemical production more complex and reasonable.
  47. I just saw a more general way to produce nitric oxide than GT6 in reality… Nitric oxide and water are produced by ammonia and oxygen at high temperatures using platinum-rhodium alloy catalysts. There is this recipe in the chemical reactor of GT5. I don’t know what machine is used in GT6 to process this recipe. It’s more reasonable than GT6 is now.
  48. 1. To be able to disassemble machines instead of shredding them.
  49. 2. Adding the Sabatier or Fischer-Tropsch reaction for Methane production, dumping all the useless carbon dioxide/monoxide and hydrogen to make sweet methan :3
  50. 4. Some sort of backpacks or toolboxes, way too many tools for such a small inventory.

  57. Cerium: It can be obtained from bastnaesite or centrifugal rare earth. It is useless in GT5 and is not an ideal material for tools. It can make some special alloys and catalysts in reality, but GT6 does not seem to need these alloys…
  58. Selenium: Byproducts of minerals such as cinnabar. Because GT printers don’t need selenium drums, I think it can be used to make higher tier solar panels…
  59. Germanium: Byproducts of stannite and kesterite, GT6 does not seem to need germanium to participate in the more complex semiconductor industry… Maybe they can be used as photoelectric components and catalysts? (Germans should be able to do that)
  60. Ruthenium and Rhodium: Maybe the best use of platinum mud or byproduct as an “expensive waste” is as a catalyst…
  61. Sulfite: I don’t know what use it is… Maybe they can be used to restore? Sodium dithionite (commonly known as “insurance powder”) is a reductant, which can be used for bleaching and synthesis of thiourea, etc.
  62. Pyrosulfate: They are not normally available, they are useless, and I don’t know why they are added… They seem to dissolve some metal oxides like persulfates.

  69. Oil of vitriol, sulfuric acid, could be created by roasting sulfur and potassium nitrate in presence of steam or by roasting green vitriol in an iron retort.
  70. Can you produce or mine iron sulfate in-game? I can’t remember, you should be able to get it by roasting pyrite FeS2 to get iron(III)sulfate Fe2(SO4)3 which when heated to about 750K or so gives FeO2 and SO3 iron oxide and sulfur trioxide.

  373. Mars is the "Red Planet" for a very good reason: its surface is made of a thick layer of oxidized iron dust and rocks of the same color. Maybe another name for Mars could be "Rusty." But the ruddy surface does not tell the whole story of the composition of this world.

  375. The dust that covers the surface of Mars is fine like talcum powder. Beneath the layer of dust, the Martian crust consists mostly of volcanic basalt rock. The soil of Mars also holds nutrients such as sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium. The crust is between 6 and 30 miles (10 and 50 kilometers) thick, according to NASA.

  425. Tungsten ores frequently occur in association with sulfides and arsenides, which can be removed by roasting.
